OUR INSULATED PANELS – THE MODPOD “HERO” PRODUCT

A true innovation in the building of our ModPods are the insulated EPS Panel. This is a stressed skin sandwich panel, comprised of pre-painted steel skins continuously laminated over the EPS core. These provide a easy care and affordable solution in the current building climate. 

INSULATION AND RATING INFORMATION

Your ModPod is fully insulated including the ceiling, walls and underfloor. With an insulation rating of 2.2R you will be warm throughout the New Zealand winter and cool in the heat of summer.

FLOORING AND SUB FLOORING

We use a housing timber floor and sub flooring to ensure the feel of a home and provide a sturdy base. Like with every component of our ModPods, quality is integral right down to the floor. 

EXTERIOR

Using nothing but the best at ModPod, this includes COLORSTEEL® exterior products that are locally made. COLORSTEEL® are durable, low maintenance and made for New Zealand’s unique environmental conditions. Not to mention they are guaranteed to look great for years to come.

We believe in creating and delivering the best from start to finish, so we choose to use and install our own custom flashings inside and outside all of our buildings.
